Ink and paper– and  a brush (or fingers, or a block of wood)– that’s all it takes.  Plus a love of what has been done in the past combined with fresh imagination.  And how about  letting go of  “should” or “can’t?”

I equally enjoy calligraphy, with many thousand characters possible in endless variations of six scripts.
